Prior to my departure for India I bought a RICOH GR II. I wanted something light and easy that could fit in my pocket. I wanted restrictions, a fixed lens, having to get close to the subject, something that could allow me to break my fear of getting involved and expose myself as a photographer but that could, at the same time, be non threatening for the subject.

Two days after I landed the camera broke. It died literally. No malfunctions, no hopes, just simply dead.

Does a camera make a photographer?

All these pictures have been taken with a RICOH GR II (very few of them) and an iPhone 5.
